We help a lot of people with Cocaine problems but shy away from Crack-Cocaine which is far more addictive. However DW’s wife persuaded us to help her husband who had a nasty Crack-Cocaine problem. They had tried a lot of the usual methods of stopping but absolutely nothing had worked for them. This addiction was badly eating into their finances so we had to find a way of helping them by deferring 75% of the payment till a later date. The treatment for these habits is selffinancing once you surmount the problem. The first session was designed to deal with the addiction. After the session the cravings for the Crack-Cocaine vanished into thin air. We proceeded the very next day with the luggage of life programme removing all the pain of the past using our unique system. DW has never touched Crack-Cocaine again. Cocaine testimonials can be found in our Wellness Testimonials category under ‘cocaine’. However, we put this testimonial in this section because Crack-Cocaine is smoked just like tobacco or cannabis. Emer Rojas, a former radio announcer who suffered his worst nightmare: he lost his voice when he contracted cancer of the vocal chords which had to be surgically removed. But with the help of a small device, he regained his voice but now sounds like a robot. Like other cancer survivors, he lives on borrowed time. But Emer also becomes a man on a mission. Emer uses his voice to draw attention to his cause: anti-smoking. He speaks on campuses and even returns to radio booths to champion his cause. From Washington – A bill has been passed in a US House of Representatives committee that would give the FDA the power to regulate tobacco. The bill would authorize the FDA to enforce cigarette labeling, restrict sales, recall products seen as unreasonably harmful, and set standards for “reduced-risk” products. Smoking is responsible for 400000 deaths each year in the US From California – A new study suggests that fasting a few days before receiving chemotherapy may help protect patients from potentially dangerous side effects. Researchers examined the effects of chemotherapy on mice, and found that mice that fasted before a chemotherapy dose survived, while half of the well-fed mice died. The researchers are now planning to begin human trials. And finally, from Vancouver – The Canadian Medical Association has launched mydoctor.ca, a website that allows patients to share information with their doctors online. The service has been likened to an online version of the house call, allowing doctors to better manage their workloads, and patients to receive personalized medical advice without making an appointment. The CMA is recommending that doctors charge an annual fee for a subscription to the service. For Insidermedicine in 60, I’m Dr. Susan Sharma.
