I know i smoke a lot about 1/2 a pack a day on week days and a pack a day on weekends. on top of that i also smoke 1-2 blunts a day on weekdays and 4-5 a day on weekends. Has they been any studies to show if smoking blunts are any worse for you then smokeing a lot of cigs. I assume since people didnt smoke blunts back int he day there were no long term studies done.

I am a social smoker. Usually 2 at a time when I drink or out with friends. On average I smoke no more than 3 cigarettes a week. This obviously isnt good for my health. Does this behavior increase my chances of lung cancer or other diseases the same way smoking a pack a day can?
I really want to stop smoking before it takes a toll on me in any way. I hate the smell of cigarettes on my clothes and the transfer from my sheets to my bedding. We don’t smoke in our home except the bathroom. The main problem is I’ve tried to quit before (I smoke half a pack a day) but my DH smokes two packs a day and when he smokes when he gets home it makes it hard for me to quit. What do I do and/or what’s the best way to quit?
