Does habitual smoking cause other cancer besides lung cancer?

June 23rd, 2010 -- Posted in News | 1 Comment »

Both my parents were long term smokers who died of cancer (neck and stomach), but not lung cancer. Could smoking have caused their cancer?

Does Cigerette Smoking Cause Lung Cancer?

    June 21st, 2010 -- Posted in News | 1 Comment »

My sister insists that no conclusive evidence exists that proves smoking cigerettes causes lung cancer. Is this true?

Don’t get me wrong.. I believe it does cause cancer, but her argument is that no studies actually exist that prove it conclusively. That is the basis of my quesiton… I’m far from stupid… I’m only asking for information so I can have an educated discussion with her, with facts to back up my argument.
I’m not looking for openions… I’m looking for references to actual medical documentation.
My quesiton was this.. is it true that there is NO CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE that smoking causes lung cancer. I’ve read several of the links that have been posted here in the past few minutes and they all say things like "may be" or " is probably" caused by….. I’m talking about CONCLUSIVE medical studies etc.

I was smoking 10-15 a day (hand rolled Golden Virginia tobacco).
