when i smoked i brought the best cigs i could afford at the time and was about brand for my teens nobody touched the cheap nasty cigs ,,cos they was cheap they just tasted horrible im suprised today to see teenagers smoking brands that in my day i wouldnt have touched with a barge pole but with the price they pay for them obviously they think it must be worthy lol i personally would rather smoke a carpet heh i think all cigs should have the same price and be cheap wont appeal then

not an opinion, or a solution, but i read a little bit of cigarette news not long ago in NewScientist No.2719 (issued august 1st 09), and that is that when people are asked to choose which brand of cigarettes they think is “healthiest” they invariably chose brands with light coloured packaging and had words like “smooth” or “silver” on them.
When in fact research shows that all brands of cigarettes (including ones claiming to be “low tar”) are equally harmful.

i have managed to quit smoking with the help of cocaine , just 20 grams a day keeps my craving for a cigarette at bay , also the fact that after buying my cocaine leaves me totally skint means i can not afford any cigs anyway

Matthew Elliot seems to have no idea about underage smokers, there are a number of smokers at my school who are as young as 12 and they buy their cigarretes from older pupils and others outside the school who are legally aloud to buy cigarretes.
you can only stop that by haveing policemen patroling the streets of every village and town in the area which wouldnt stop it completely, as long as there are young people willing to smoke for whatever reason there will always be underage smokers

If they want to smoke then let them. This should be a free country. You should not be aloud to tell people what they can eat, drink, take or smoke in this case.
